We are dedicated to the premise that:

God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2: 3-4)

He is not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 2: 3-4)

He provided His Son as the means of salvation (John 3: 16)

No one can come to the Father except through the Son (John 14: 6)

We are a church commissioned to make disciples by leading the lost to the Son and teaching the converts (Matthew 28: 19-20; Acts 8: 1)

Kirkwood Baptist Church was established in 1885. We are now 124 years old.
We recently competed a building program. We added four new classrooms and a fellowship hall which will accommodate up to 100 persons.
We are associated with the Cumberland Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
